Abrasives for Surface Preparation (shop and field coating removal and new metal):

Copper Slag (Sharpshot): Low cost, low silica highly effective media primarily for field work. Available in 75lb bags and 4000lb bulk bags. 12X30 (coarse), 20X50 (medium), and 30X60 (fine) sizes available. Click here for Sharpshot MSDS.

Garnet (Chinese, Indian, and Idaho products): Highly effective media for shop and field use. Reusable, especially the Idaho product, bringing the effective cost down. Ervin Amasteel Grit and Shot: The most reusable abrasive available. Primarily for shop applications with automated recovery/reclaim systems, for automated shot blast systems, and for field work with containment and portable recovery/reclaim systems. Aluminum Oxide: Aggressive media in 50lb bags. Sizes from #240 (fine) to #8 (coarse).
