Specialty Lighting for Blasting, Coating, and other Applications

Blast/Coat Systems distributes the Western Technology line of specialty lighting which has products specially developed for the harsh abrasive blasting environment, as well as explosion-proof lighting for various applications, such as painting and tank and utility inspection work.

Providing proper lighting contributes to safety in the blast and paint workplace as well as an increase in productivity. It is well known that a blaster that can see the surface he is working on will be more productive than one who can't. Having to stop blasting to let the dust settle to check on the work product is time-consuming and costly. The proper lighting can cut through the dust so that the blaster can see his results and keep on moving.

Among the products available from Western Technology are:

The Mighty Light line of LED lights. Blast hose-mounted polyurethane-bodied directional lights; magnet-backed polyurethane bodied LED area lights; explosion-proof LED inspection/work lights and area lights

The original line of halogen blast lights: the hose-mounted 3300 air-cooled light and the hose-mounted 3400 "no-air" light. Also the 4100 and 4210 magnet-backed area lights using standard flood and spot bulbs

A wide variety of specialty explosion-proof and other work lights for a wide range of applications with different mounting options: tripod, floor base, ladder, cart, etc.
