Blast/Coat distributes the Schmidt line of blast pots featuring the ultra-reliable MicroValve/ComboValve controls and the industry standard Thompson Valve. In addition, the newer generation MV2 and Thompson II valves offer advantages over these valves. We offer 1.5, 3.5, 6.5 and 10 cubic foot small portable pots with electric or pneumatic controls. Also available are 6-ton and 8-ton bulk blasters and such innovative equipment as the PMB (Precision Media Blaster) for blasting at low pressure and for use with soft abrasives and baking soda. Also available from Schmidt are a wide range of air dryers including deliquescent dryers using desiccant for very dry air for demanding applications. Schmidt is also well known for the BRS (Blast & Recovery System) for vacuum blasting. The BRS features an integrated, compact design that can be trailer- or skid-mounted for easy portability and quick set-up. It features wet, dry or dry-HEPA filtration and includes a blast pot, air-eductor vacuum and abrasive storage hopper. Several sizes are available. In addition to blasting equipment, Blast/Coat carries a full line of hose, nozzles, couplings, deadman controls and replacement parts and accessories for Schmidt and other manufacturers' machines.
